lyrics
Something else is here with me
In the dark I feel its weight
Tense and try to tiptoe clear
But these hallways stretch for years
They know you inside and out
Spider wires spin webs of doubt
In the corner of my eye
Shadows lurk one step behind
Coiled hands spring out to me
Silver tongues through serpents’ lips
Tap of pincers flick of wings
Creeping crawling listening
HAHAHAHAHA
A mystic shiftless minnow
A mindless spent vertigo
This cryptic carbon-filled dome
A moon lit in Scorpio
Eyes in the back and below
Controlling wrist to bestow
Will silence still the willow
Pleistoscene amber ingot
Siphoning smell of ego
Cycle through sullen death throes
Abysmal secrets we know
The whispers in your window
Rider in the sky appears
Says our time will be soon near
Panic spreads across the sphere
They regret who live in fear
Life will be the death of me
Watchful eyes look deep within
Starving vultures circling
Split my bones and pick them clean
Abysmal secrets we know
The whispers in your window
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

If you're going to go out in apocalyptic style you might want to have the 40 minute title track playing loud at your side. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 12, 2013
